Warena Aged Care Facility, Bangor

Blackett Maguire & Associates took on the role of Principal Certifying Authority for the alterations and additions to the existing Warena Aged Care Facility.  When the development is complete the facility will contain 68 bedrooms and underground parking for 32 cars.

Rock Lea Aged Care Facility, North Rocks

At Rock Lea we have been engaged to provide Commonwealth Certification Services for the development and provide feedback for the assessment inspection.

Banks Lodge, Peakhurst

Initially our scope of service was to provide a Commonwealth Certification Report and Building Code of Australia advice for the existing Hostel at Banks Lodge, however when it was decided to extend the facility to become a class 9c residential aged care facility our scope grew to include Principal Certifying Authority services.  When complete this aged care facility will include over 50 residential care places.

Lismore Base Hospital – Richmond Clinic

The Richmond Clinic is a 25 bed mental health unit.  Blackett Maguire & Associates provided Building Code of Australia Consulting and Crown Certification for the project.

David Blackett is a member of the Aged Care Industry Council (NSW & ACT) Building Committee – a 12 person committee who provide technical advice to the Aged Care Industry Council (ACIC) on the Building Code of Australia, Australian Standards, planning considerations and associated building and planning instruments relevant to residential aged care and retirement villages.

Our services also extend to other health care developments including hospitals, medical centres, doctor’s surgeries and multi purposes health service centres.
